I’m John Cotton. I was a political leader for 25 years and led Birmingham City Council, the UK’s biggest local authority, out of bankruptcy and back into the mainstream of local government.
Now, drawing on my many years of practical experience on the front line, I provide strategic advice as a Senior Advisor at 5654 & Company, and freelance support to leaders and organisations seeking to deliver change and navigate complex challenges.
I am passionate about helping leaders grow: supporting their businesses and organisations to deliver lasting social and economic change in partnership with local communities.
